Ukrainian Nordic skier combining sport and studies on path to PyeongChang.
Taras Rad is quickly becoming one of the biggest names on the Nordic skiing circuit.
The teenager finished second in the sitting biathlon World Cup rankings last season, won three silvers medals at his first World Championships and will have high hopes for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Paralympic Games from 9-18 March.
The Ukrainian 17-year-old knows it is not easy to handle success at such a young age and shares the life lessons everyone can learn from sport.

На днях Нацбанк выпустил памятную монету, посвященную выдающемуся успеху сборной Украины на Паралимпиаде в Рио-де-Жанейро-2016. Но, оказывается, два года назад само участие сборных нашей страны (и олимпийской, и паралимпийской) в крупнейших стартах четырехлетия висело буквально на волоске.

There are few things that multiple world champion Illona Slugovyna has not achieved as a Para dancer. The Ukrainian athlete is one of the legends in her sport where she has already claimed five gold medals at previous world championships. Despite her numerous victories, Slugovyna is far from taking it easy and is setting high expectations for herself ahead of the 2017 World Para Dance Sport Championships, which begin Saturday (21 October) in Malle, Belgium.

У турецькому місті Самсун завершено Дефлімпійські ігри - змагання серед спортсменів з порушеннями слуху. Збірна України тріумфально повертається з 99 нагородами - 21 золотою, 42 срібними та 36 бронзовими медалями та з другою світовою позицією.
